The Champernowne Trust

Hilary is delighted to be associated with The Champernowne Trust www.champernowne.org.uk and will be its Musical Director once again in the gorgeous Cumberland Lodge  www.cumberlandlodge.ac.uk in Windsor Great Park from 31st July - 4th August 2016.  This unique course begins every one of its richly full and diverse days with singing together.  If that isn't enough music for you, there is an opportunity to sing with a choir in the early evening.

Goodbye to Mark!

Farewell to Mark who has now returned to Australia after a year studying in London and thank you for your appreciation of our lessons.

"Thank you so much for all your help with my singing and vocal development over the past year.  The training has been absolutely invaluable."

The Edinburgh Fringe is a mad, crazy, wonderful riot of artistic endeavour and this Summer  Flamin' Dames performed "Flamin' Dames sing Coward and Novello" at the delightful Symposium Hall.  Accompanied by Stephen Powell and with lighting and back projections courtesy of Simon Pike, Flamin' Dames delighted audiences and received a four star Broadway Baby review.

Time has flown and I have only just drawn breath to update my website!  Congratulations to many students - Zack & Veronica for acceptance in the National Youth Choir of Great Britain; Kiran for his Advanced Certificate, Rachel, Julia and Amaryllis for gaining Distinction at Grade 8 and to many others for their exam successes.  Congratulations also to Michal for acceptance on a Music Theatre MA at Central School of Speech and Drama.  Have a good Summer everyone!

Congratulations to Emilia who has just been awarded a Choral Scholarship by Nottingham Cathedral Church of St. Barnabas!

Hilary is excited to be off cruising with Flamin' Dames to the Aegean to entertain on Swan Hellenic's "Minerva" in September.  The programmes will be "Queens of Song" (in two parts), "Opera Hits the Deck" and "Dames After Eight".
